learning china mosaic techniques.
This workshop will be held in the garden at
Somewhere in the Sunshine
in Flutterbies' Marketta Lane.
Clare Johnson, a highly talented painter and mosaic artist will be sharing her skills and ideas on mosaic crafting on Wednesday 4th March. Clare has offered to continue holding classes on the first Wednesday of each month, so nobody misses out!
Workshop starts at 10am - 3pm, with a break for lunch. Bring your own, or treat yourself to the cafe menu (highly recommended!)
Cost - $80 for the day, including materials and use of tools.
(There will be hand tile cutters available to buy - no doubt you'll catch the bug and need to keep going with your project at home.) It is recommended to come along to a follow up workshop also for tuition in grouting and any finishing touches required.
Feel free to bring along any pieces of china etc to use in your project. Perhaps a favourite cup or plate which has sadly broken - so great to resurrect those broken treasures. Contact Emerald 0413 975 774

Basic Skills using Chalk Paint
Monday 24th Feb 10am - 2pm
Chalk paint workshops are about learning 4 main techniques using chalk paint. You will be given all the latest product information and tips to help you create the look you want. Bring along a small piece of furniture to paint after lunch; it can be a chair, picture frame or tray. Consider what style and colours you would like to use and we have Annie's books to look through for inspiration.
$140 and bookings are essential.
Lunch and paint/materials are included. Receive 10% discount on all paint supplies purchased on the day!
Mondays are the preferred day for chalk paint workshops but if you are unable to make it and you would like to come along on a different day, please call to arrange.
