For Chalk Painters Ears Only...

Australia and New Zealand stockists of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint have had to previously deal with a distributor that sold primarily out of the US. Annie Sloan has been involved in litigation with them for the past few years because, among other things, they put her chalk paint on Amazon. Annie's chalk paint is sold to stockists all over the world to create small businesses that onsell her products. Listing it on Amazon cuts out those small businesses, and it left some businesses bankrupt almost overnight. (This mostly effected the US). This company has also pretty much copied her to create their own paint brand - you'll know it when you see it - it's almost identical. As well, unfortunately, they didn't cooperate with Annie Sloan in upgrading the paint and products, which meant we didn't get the new colours or improvements of the paint and lacquer as they happened.

So... I'm excited to tell you that there is new stock arriving from the UK! Annie Sloan has become our direct distributor, meaning we now get all the new advances and colours as they are created! And some of those are on their way! Our order has left the Melbourne warehouse and should arrive any day!
There's a colour we've never seen - Original, which is one of the whites; her new bookazine, called the Colourist, which is designed to become the first in a library of colour ideas and inspiration. She has created 3 new colours and fabrics not yet released - which is exciting if you are designing kitchen, loungeroom or bedroom scenarios. Always improving and adding to her reportoire..... Annie will keep us inspired - and we will now be able to keep you abreast of all the latest news as it happens!

Yes, this is the paint from the US and it is still wonderful paint! The UK paint will be slightly different in colour and texture, so if you are matching colour that you have run out of, choose the US paint - I still have some stock left. (If you have questions, come and talk to me :)
As an introductory special and a thanks-for-hanging-in-there - the new and improved UK paint will be $55 until January 1st 2019. It is different and the stockists are excited!
