Stencils
I love stencils. Whenever I'm painting a piece of furniture, I'm always looking for ways to improve the interest in the piece. There are lots of ways to paint furniture, as you know from your workshops and what you are experimenting with, on the furniture you're doing at home. But there is more....sooo much more!
Somewhere in the Sunshine is expanding its repertoire - stencils, stamps, mouldings, transfers/decals. The Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is integral in all that we do, because it is the best furniture paint on the market, but when you want something that no one else has... you reach for something...
French...contemporary...classic or something boho, retro or modern to give it that special something. Stencils are a simple way to add art to your project. Stencils make it something personal; something you can do, without having an interior design degree!

Stencils are interchangeable - I've used this one ('Aragon' - classic French) on the floor (here) and as a centrepiece on tables. You can use the whole stencil or certain parts of it, for example, just the corners or just the design within the circle etc, making it a good investment for future projects.
