Happy New Year! Happy 2020!
Our hearts go out to all our loved ones and people everywhere suffering the bushfires. It started here in Tyalgum when our shops burnt down in August and seems to have continued on. We know what devastation and shock follows with such events and here at Somewhere in the Sunshine, we also know the Aussie spirit is alive and well - there is a way forward. When we work together, miracles happen! May that be true for all of our circumstances across Australia.
So it's been a big year already and our Marketta space has been alive with Christmas and holiday makers. Everyone we've spoken to has had a quiet heartfelt family time of celebration. And it's been so hot, I haven't been feeling to paint too much, but the rain has come to change all that!

'Bring a Piece of Furniture' - 9am - 1pm
Chalk paint workshops are about learning 4 main techniques using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Wax. You will be given all the latest product information and professional tips to help create the style you want. Consider the colours you want use to paint your small piece of furniture you bring along on the day; it can be a chair, picture frame; something you can finish in a couple of hours. If you are unable to make it to this workshop and you would like to book for a different date, please call me to arrange another time.
